Swift Prefs is a simple utility for configuring parameters and servers for both Swift Inbox and Swift Outbox.

Tap the Done button to exit, or Servers button to setup currently active server.

 Preferences

Tapping Network Panel invokes System Preferences' Network Panel, where you can
configure your Internet connection.

Active Server is an item in the list of servers that you can use with Swift Inbox
and Swift Outbox. Currently displayed server is the active server that will be used
when receiving or sending e-mail.

Disconnect on exit allows you to stay connected to the Internet after you exit
Swift Inbox or Swift Outbox.

Leave messages on server will leave all new messages on the server. This enables
you to read those messages later at the desktop computer.

Include old message in reply will include the text of the old message in the new
message that you send when tapping Reply button in Inbox.

 SMTP Server

This screen allows you to set a custom short name for the server, as well as other
required parameters for sending e-mail.

Server field holds the SMTP server name.

SMTP port is the internet protocol port used for sending e-mail to this server.
Although 25 is the default port used across the whole Internet, there are several
special servers that use custom port numbers.

Your full name is the name that will be shown to others when they receive your
e-mail. Enter your name or nickname here.

Your e-mail address on this server is used to identify yourself to the SMTP server
when sending e-mail.

 POP Server

This screen is used for setting up your incoming mail server, but it is also used by
Swift Outbox for identification. Even if you don't use Swift Inbox to receive e-mail,
you have to enter the requested information to be able to send your e-mail.

Server holds the POP server name.

POP port is the internet protocol port used for receiving e-mail on this server.
Although 110 is the default port used across the whole Internet, there are several
special servers that use custom port numbers.

Login is the special username you have on this server.

Password is used for full identification. If you don't enter password, you will not be
able to connect to the server and receive or send e-mail. When you enter the
password, the label on the screen will change from "undefined" to "-Assigned-".
